About the RoleAs an Accountant, you’ll be responsible for managing the financial operations of Formula.Monks, ensuring the accuracy of our internal financial records and compliance with accounting standards. You will oversee key activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, and financial reporting. Your understanding of international and/or US accounting standards will be vital in ensuring compliance and consistency in all financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Manage internal accounting processes, including fixed assets, banking, taxes, and treasury.
- Oversee payroll and invoicing to maintain accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Utilize ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to manage financial records and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial operations and support company goals.
- Prepare and review financial reports for leadership, providing actionable insights.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Advanced english level.
- ERP systems knowledge such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Contador) or related field required.
- Initial knowledge of financial practices covering fixed assets, taxes, payroll, and treasury.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
