Job Title: Professional Accountant
Location: Medellín, Colombia (In-Office)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our administration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with Colombian accounting standards, and supporting day-to-day administrative and financial operations. This is an in-person role that requires collaboration with management, administration, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accordance with Colombian regulations (NIIF/IFRS).
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support payroll processing and social security contributions.
- Handle tax filings (IVA, renta, retención en la fuente, etc.) and ensure compliance with DIAN requirements.
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with the administration team on budgeting, cost control, and expense tracking.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions as needed.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records, digital and physical.
- Assist in administrative tasks related to procurement, vendor management, and financial contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (Contador Público) in Colombia preferred.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience (corporate or administrative).
- Strong knowledge of Colombian tax law and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Siigo, World Office, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with an administrative team.
- High ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial information.
