At ChemTreat, a Veralto company, we're driving results through trusted water treatment solutions across the globe. We're looking for a seasoned Regional Controller to oversee financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls across our LATAM operations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for the financial integrity and operational excellence of our entities in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Brazil.

What You’ll Do

As the LATAM Regional Controller, you’ll be the key financial steward for the region, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with US GAAP, Veralto policies, and local statutory regulations. You’ll directly lead a distributed team 4 Country Controllers (each with teams of 10-15) and partner cross-functionally with Country, Region, Company and Corporate business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all financial reporting for LATAM in compliance with US GAAP and statutory regulations

  • Manage the general ledger, chart of accounts, and financial statement structure

  • Oversee accounts receivable/payable and optimize working capital

  • Ensure compliance with all local tax regulations and coordinate filings

  • Own internal control frameworks and lead successful internal and external audits

  • Coordinate with Veralto's Internal Audit and external audit teams

  • Support M&A due diligence and integration for new entities in the region

  • Lead Balance Sheet Reviews and provide mentorship to finance teams across countries

This is a challenging AND rewarding role. You will not only manage financial reporting and compliance but also contribute to process improvements, mentor regional finance teams, and support strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact while working closely with senior leadership.

While the position demands high levels of diligence and resilience due to its complexity and scope, it also provides exposure to international finance, cross-functional leadership, and strategic decision-making. You will gain deep experience working with dynamic teams and will be instrumental in shaping the financial future of ChemTreat's LATAM operations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead complex financial operations across multiple countries, including Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Brazil. The LATAM Regional Controller will navigate diverse regulatory environments and collaborate with both local and corporate teams to ensure financial integrity and strategic alignment.

Who You Are

You are a proactive and experienced finance leader who thrives in complex, international environments. You bring sharp analytical thinking, high integrity, and strong business acumen to everything you do.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or public accounting experience preferred)

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is a plus

  • 8+ of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller with multi-country oversight

  • Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting practices

  • Proven experience leading distributed teams across borders

  • Advanced Excel skills and fluency with Microsoft Office suite

  • Ability to travel up to 50% to build and maintain key relationships
