This role is part of the Accounting team.
Job Description
This role requires a 100% onsite presence at our office, which is located in Autopista Norte con calle 108.
The role will support the Motorola Solutions´s general accountant in all financial and accounting responsibilities, mainly in the accounting analysis of all financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Monthly Journal Entries: Expertly prepare and execute monthly journal entries with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Take charge of reviewing and preparing balance sheet reconciliations, driving process improvements as needed.
- Prepare finance corporate report ( House order, Itr, variations)
- General Ledger Analysis: Drill down into general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Financial Statement Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of schedules and analysis for the financial statement audit.
- Multi-Currency Reconciliation: Manage the reconciliation of intercompany transactions involving multiple currencies for international entities.
- Tax knowledge ( Liquidation and presentation of monthly taxes, (VAT, ICA, WHT. Tax reconciliation)
- Manage daily cash reconciliations, bank reconciliation and cash flow
- Support the accountant in the preparation of files to Government reports ( Supersociedades, medios magneticos. etc)

Basic Requirements
Recently graduated in accounting and finance or student last year
Experience 1-2 years working in Accounting area . Previous experience in Big 4 companies is preferred
Oracle experience preferred
International background preferred
US GAAP Knowledge recommended
High analytic and reporting skills
High knowledge in taxes and internal control
Intermediate English
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior in challenging situations.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Effective communicator with solid written and oral skills
- Adaptable, proactive and very organized
- Ability to manage good relationships with employees, customers, vendors and auditors
- Oracle knowledge is a plus
- knowledge in Excel (pivots, macros, formulas) and Knowledge in google tools
