Inbound Sales Team Lead

Meadow is reimagining what funeral care can feel like in the U.S.—with transparent pricing, modern options, and a human touch that earns families’ trust. We offer simple cremation services and beautiful memorials across California, with plans to scale nationally.

We're looking for a player-coach to help build and lead a high-performance Sales team. You’ll start as a Senior Rep to master the process and model excellence. Within 3 months, you'll take on scoped leadership: coaching others, managing day shift operations, and contributing to process improvements. Over time, you’ll grow into a full-time team leadership role.

This is a rare opportunity to shape a high-output, low-ego sales team from the inside, while staying grounded in the work yourself.

What You’ll Do

Start as a seller. Become a subject matter expert. Grow into a leader. Stay close to the work.

As a Seller

  • Guide families from first call to close—high-trust, inbound sales

  • Own your leads and quota; hit >55% conversion through clear, empathetic conversations

  • Model unmatched hospitality and high agency in every interaction

As a Team Lead

  • Manage the day shift (8am–5pm PT), ensuring daily execution and service quality

    • Lead 1:1s, shift check-ins, and team standups

    • Handle live queue oversight and be the first escalation point

    • Coach and support reps through feedback, shadowing, and hands-on help

  • Participate in hiring, onboarding and training for new reps

  • Run or contribute to QA processes and performance reviews

  • Manage day shift coverage, schedules, and team ops directly

You’ll ramp into the Team Lead role within 2-3 months and support up to 10 reps over time, with people leadership becoming your primary focus (~80%) as the team grows.

What Success Looks Like

  • 3 months: You’re performing as a high-agency Senior Rep and have begun supporting others.

  • 6 months: You own the day shift, lead the team with confidence, and have driven real improvements.

  • 12 months: Your team is a standout: high performance, strong engagement, low drama. You’re driving onboarding and shaping training.


You’re a Strong Fit If You…

  • Have 5+ years in sales with a strong individual track record

  • Have experience managing others (formally or informally)

  • Are a practiced manager: organized, steady, direct, and trusted

  • Combine care and clarity—your team wants your feedback

  • Operate with high agency and strong judgment

  • Want to grow your leadership career in a remote-first, high-trust culture

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience with HubSpot, Aircall, or remote team management across time zones.

  • Remote | Preference for LatAm-based applicants

  • Cover Day Shift: 8am–5pm PT (includes break)

  • Compensation: $2,500–$4,200 USD/month OTE

  • Tools: HubSpot, Aircall, Slack, internal systems
