Job Title: Junior Video Editor
Tradeview Markets is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our growing content and marketing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about video editing, have a strong understanding of social media trends, and possess basic skills in motion graphics and audio editing. This role focuses on producing high-quality, engaging short-form and educational video content optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit educational and social media content: Craft visually appealing, digestible videos using raw footage, selecting the best takes, and shaping coherent narratives.
- Motion graphics: Apply basic motion design techniques including text overlays, transitions, and effects to enhance viewer engagement.
- Audio editing: Utilize basic audio editing skills to clean up original audio, add sound effects, and ensure a professional sound finish.
- Short-form video production: Edit short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that is optimized for mobile viewing and high engagement.
- Trend integration: Stay up to date with social media trends and incorporate them into video content to ensure relevance and impact.
- Creative input: Contribute fresh ideas and concepts aligned with trending formats and the company’s brand identity.
- Brand consistency: Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and platform-specific technical requirements.
- Support editorial workflow: Assist senior editors by organizing files, exporting, compressing, and preparing content for delivery.
- Quality control: Participate in quality checks to ensure all final videos meet company standards before publishing.
- Team collaboration: Work closely with senior editors and the marketing team to meet deadlines and maintain high production quality.
- Flexibility: Be open to additional responsibilities including brainstorming new content ideas and assisting with basic graphic design tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Basic experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Understanding of sound design and audio editing principles.
- Awareness of current social media video trends and formats.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills.
- Ability to take feedback constructively and adapt quickly.
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Prior experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
