Remote Bilingual Demand Writer
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Remote Bilingual Demand Writer to join our U.S.-based personal injury law firm. This fully remote role is ideal for candidates fluent in English and Spanish, with hands-on experience drafting high-quality, persuasive demand letters for injury and accident cases. You will play a key role in summarizing medical treatment, calculating damages, and presenting compelling narratives to support pre-litigation negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft structured, accurate, and persuasive demand letters for personal injury claims, including auto accidents, slip and falls, and catastrophic injuries
- Analyze and summarize medical records, billing statements, and police reports
- Create detailed treatment timelines and calculate damages (specials/general)
- Compile and label exhibits, including invoices, photos, and reports
- Communicate with case managers or clients for missing or clarifying details
- Maintain organized case documentation and digital files for attorney review
- Meet strict deadlines while managing multiple assignments independently
Required Qualifications:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Minimum 1 year of experience drafting demand letters in a U.S. personal injury law firm
- Strong legal writing, grammar, and editing skills in English
- Familiarity with medical terminology and personal injury claim processes
- Ability to craft clear legal narratives and calculate damages accurately
- High attention to detail and excellent organization
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Experience with legal case management systems (e.g., Filevine preferred, not required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with California personal injury law
- Previous drafting of treatment summaries or damages analyses
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a remote, fast-paced environment
