About the role

As a Senior Technical Consultant – ServiceNow, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and leading high-quality ServiceNow solutions that meet complex business requirements. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow Delivery Team and work collaboratively with project managers, developers, HR, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:

  • - Lead complex ServiceNow implementations, including architecture design, integration documentation, and advanced development.
  • - Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, providing technical leadership and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • - Translate business requirements and mock-ups into fully functional features, collaborating closely with implementation teams.
  • - Act as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within projects, ensuring timely updates and proactive communication.
  • - Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support recruitment efforts through technical interviews and onboarding.

Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Colombia. What you need to have to be considered

  • 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform configuration and technical consulting.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM).
  • Proven experience in at least two additional ServiceNow product lines beyond ITSM.
  • Strong background in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and integration frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written, verbal, and presentational), with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

These will help you stand out

  • Postgraduate education in software-related fields.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent knowledge of IT Service Management.
  • Experience in Agile development environments and full software development life cycle.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and guiding technical teams.
  • Proven ability to contribute to process improvement and delivery excellence.
