Job Description
AECOM's Enterprise Capabilities team has an immediate opportunity available for a Structural Engineering III for employment in Bogota, Colombia.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Participate in the structural design of various infrastructure projects.
- Ensure that all assigned projects are executed in accordance with the company’s quality management system.
- Promote an integrated and multidisciplinary design approach, collaborating across different engineering disciplines.
- Understand and address client requirements and expectations effectively.
- Stay up to date with industry standards, guidelines, and new technologies, and communicate relevant developments to your team.
- Collaborate constructively with colleagues, external partners (e.g., architects, geotchnics, piping and mechanical engineers), and clients to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Civil engineer or similar degree with +4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Requirements
- Preferably, more than 7 years of technical experience in structural engineering, specifically in the design of various types of concrete and steel structures, in accordance with international standards.
- Experience in infrastructure projects (railways, light rail, highways, airports, data centers, etc.).
- Experience in all phases of structural projects, from conception to completion.
- You are proficient in the use of structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, CSI Bridge, or similar tools.
- Communication skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
