Position Description:

Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Conversational English (B2 level or higher).
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Experience with JavaScript language features (ES6+, Promises).
- Experience optimizing the performance of JavaScript/browser applications.
- Experience developing single-page applications (SPA).
- Experience working with Product and Design to launch innovative features.
- Advocate for web standards, accessibility, and modern web development practices.
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and tools like Cypress, Jest.
- Experience with any of the following: server-side JavaScript (Node.js), GraphQL, TypeScript.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and User Experience experts to create an experience that impacts the future of agriculture.
- Collaborate in the technical design and estimates of solutions to implement new features according to Product specifications.
- Work with an open and inclusive team of engineers committed to continuous improvement and quality.
- Participate in code reviews. In our team, we share knowledge, help each other learn new things, and focus on improving our code.
- Write thorough code and tests (unit, UI, e2e).
Complementary Skills:
We are looking for a Senior Web Engineer to join one of our dynamic regional Product delivery teams, working in cloud-based distributed environments. You will have the opportunity to work with large datasets, such as scientific data, machine-generated data from our farmers' equipment, geospatial data, precision agriculture, remote sensing, climate and/or soil data. We are revolutionizing the agricultural industry by helping farmers worldwide sustainably increase their productivity through digital tools.
