About the role
- As a Junior Release Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the seamless transition of software products into production. You will help define practices and processes to ensure that software is built, tested, and delivered in a predictable and reliable manner.
What you will do
- Execute and present results associated with regression and performance testing of our Web services and API.
- Be responsible for the maintenance, innovation and design of quality gates in these test suites,
- Deploy in pre-production and production environments our services for testing using pipelines.
- Release Management
- Automation of Pipelines as Code
- Automation of Regression Testing
- Automation of Load Testing
- Maintenance of QA Environments
- Support to developers in Quality Assurance related Activities
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in technical or financial operations roles, including internships or academic projects.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with large data sets.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Basic understanding of QA testing and test automation frameworks.
- Exposure to pipeline automation; knowledge of GitLab CI/CD is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and cloud-based architecture.
- Working knowledge of Linux and foundational DevOps practices.
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, data-driven FinTech environment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking, with a passion for data accuracy and integrity.
