The Role in One Line
Own the entire organic‑growth engine including technical SEO, schema markup, and punchy copy. The goal is so our clients rank higher and sell more (often before they spend a cent on ads).
The role starts at 25 hours per week and includes a 90-day probationary period.
What You Will Do
- Audit & Optimize client websites (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix Studio, Webflow): speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile UX.
- Write / refine website copy that converts visitors into leads and members.
- Plan, write, and publish 8+ blogs and 8+ email campaigns per month—including multi‑email sequences and monthly newsletters.
- Strategize monthly content calendars and cohort‑specific themes to drive local visibility and new‑member acquisition.
- Craft compelling ad copy for Meta, Google, and Bing campaigns.
- Implement JSON‑LD schema for LocalBusiness, Services, FAQ, How‑To, Article, and more.
- Collaborate with our designer to brief visuals that match your copy.
- Create / update GA4 events & GSC tracking, then report wins and gaps monthly.
- Execute on‑page SEO clean‑ups (broken links, toxic links) and drive a backlink‑acquisition strategy.
- Stay current on Google updates and fitness‑industry trends.
What Good Looks Like
- Within 90 days, every client site passes Google’s Rich Results Test and Core Web Vitals.
- Portfolio‑wide organic impressions grow ≥ 15 %.
- Email open rate holds at 40 %+ and CTR at 3 %+.
- Ad copy achieves above‑benchmark CTR and CPA targets.
- Projects move forward without daily hand‑holding.
Must‑Haves
- 3+ years in an SEO or content role with deep technical expertise, and heavily immersed in the latest local‑business visibility tactics for Google’s AI Overviews and other AI‑driven search features
- Demonstrated Content and Technical SEO strategy across WordPress, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace.
- Proven schema‑markup wins (JSON‑LD)
- Strong copywriting skills: persuasive ad copy, conversion‑focused website copy, and engaging email marketing.
- Email‑marketing mastery: hands‑on with leading platforms (e.g., GoHighLevel, or HubSpot, or Mailchimp) and a track record of building end‑to‑end campaigns, including automated, logic‑based flows and segmentation.
- Logical flow‑design mindset: able to map multi‑step sequences that trigger contextual messages and maximize conversions.
- SEM expertise: Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Ads, Google Ads, Bing Ads.
- Google‑stack optimisation: GA4, Search Console, Google My Business, and AdWords remarketing.
- Portfolio with English blog, email, and ad‑copy samples that moved the needle.
- Fluent Spanish and professional English, written and spoken.
- Comfortable working US‑Eastern hours (9 a.m.–5 p.m. ET).
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Experience in the fitness industry, wellness, or SaaS.
- Basic design skills in Canva or Figma.
