In this role, you will oversee the Quality Assurance and QA Engineering team, providing coaching to current team leads and potential future team leads. This position focuses on introducing and implementing new standards and practices across the delivery team with minimal disruption. The QA Manager ensures all relevant stakeholders are involved in the process and that all ideas are considered.
The QA Manager also oversees important projects alongside PMs, working closely with project managers and their teams to ensure successful delivery and to provide advice on improving project delivery. This role involves meeting with senior team members to understand business requirements and to adapt the QA team to achieve the organization's long and short-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Understand organizational needs for the entire delivery team and help implement the vision effectively with minimal disruption.
- Working closely with product development, engineering, and operations teams to ensure that quality standards are integrated into the product lifecycle.
- Review of automated scripts to ensure quality and constant improvement.
- Provide feedback to PM leads, Developer leads, and BA leads to help the delivery team work cohesively and efficiently.
- Stay connected with the QA team to understand their work and requirements at all levels.
- Monitor team performance/output by attending meetings, reviewing work, and providing feedback.
- Push organizational changes based on team suggestions, providing constructive criticism and helping introduce feasible ideas.
- Provide plans for delivery team structure, highlighting excess and lack of resources and suggesting additional help or resource movement as needed.
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the QA department, ensuring all activities align with business goals and customer requirements.
- Connect with SLT to understand future business needs and help implement them within the team.
- Provide updates to senior team leaders and escalate issues as required.
- Improve tools and concepts at Neostella by assessing current structures, software, and methodologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Manager
- Strong people skills.
- Strong QA skills in testing frameworks, methodologies and toolsets.
- Proven experience managing QA teams, including training, performance management, and team development.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall.
- Background in developing and managing automated test suites using tools (Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, QTP, or similar) and scripting languages.
- Experience with software testing, defect tracking, and quality management systems (JIRA, TestRail, Quality Centre, Tricentis, Jmeter).
- Experience with performance testing, load testing, and security testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to various stakeholders.
- Effective prioritization and parallel project execution skills.
- Relevant certification in Quality Management (Six Sigma, ISO 9001, ISTQB).
