Job Description
Visa is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Services Senior Manager to lead the creation and execution of innovative marketing strategies that drive business growth in Colombia. This role will identify market opportunities, develop high-impact co-marketing initiatives with clients, and leverage Visa’s global assets to deliver measurable results across multiple audiences. The ideal candidate combines creativity, analytical thinking, and executional excellence, with the ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify marketing opportunities across diverse customer segments and develop co-marketing programs with clients to drive Visa’s business growth.
Lead the end-to-end execution of marketing plans, including promotions, events, sponsorships, partnerships, digital marketing initiatives, and sales enablement activities.
Continuously gather and analyze actionable consumer insights through research tools, trend monitoring, and data analysis to inform strategy.
Support new business development by participating in sales pitch presentations and creating tailored marketing plans for prospective clients.
Collaborate closely with internal teams — including Sales, Product, Merchant Solutions, Finance, Operations Support, and Legal — to ensure seamless implementation of marketing strategies.
Reimagine and maximize the impact of Visa’s sponsorships and brand assets such as FIFA, NFL, Olympic Games, and Disney+ through innovative marketing activations.
Define and implement the social media strategy, leveraging digital, mobile, and emerging platforms to engage audiences and strengthen the Visa brand.
Lead media and creative agency management, including the development of creative briefs, oversight of budgets, and management of Statements of Work.
Operate independently in a complex, fast-changing environment, delivering fact-based recommendations and ensuring alignment with senior leaders and stakeholders.
Foster an innovative, learning-oriented culture that seeks continuous improvement, celebrates successes, and applies lessons learned.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 4 years of work experience with a PhD- Proven track record in marketing strategy and execution, ideally within payments, financial services, technology, or consumer brands.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
- Strong creative and strategic thinking capabilities, with a passion for innovation.
- Experience managing agencies, large-scale campaigns, and sponsorship activations.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
