Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and enhancement of mobile application services that uphold the product vision.
- Architect and implement robust designs for the medium/long term vision of the app services.
- Integrate and manage new providers, ensuring seamless interaction with third-party APIs and partners.
- Take charge in collaborations with product, UX, and GTM teams to drive product success.
- Identify and implement data-driven improvements to internal services that yield significant benefits for customers and the business.
- Mentor peers, imparting knowledge and fostering positive team dynamics.
- Exhibit leadership in a multi-disciplinary group, providing insightful feedback and encouraging professional growth among team members.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in developing highly scalable mobile applications, with expertise in React Native.
- A proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining critical user-facing systems.
- Expertise in writing comprehensive automated tests (unit, integration, e2e, chaos, etc.).
- Exceptional cross-team communication skills, capable of leading towards shared objectives.
- Skilled at handling and resolving conflicts constructively — an effective listener, presenter, and inquisitor.
- Mastery of engineering principles and best practices across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills — clearly articulates designs and decisions.
- Comfortable giving and receiving candid feedback in an Agile environment.
- Passionate customer advocate with innovative problem-solving capabilities.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience building Native Modules using React Native Bridge or Fabric Components.
- Familiarity with push notification services.
- Prior experience in creating calendar integrations in mobile apps.
