Role Overview
NIQ is a global leader in consumer intelligence. As Social Media Manager, you will lead the evolution and growth of NIQ’s global social media presence, operating at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and performance. You will drive enterprise-wide campaign execution, guide regional teams, and ensure our social storytelling is bold, brand-aligned, and impacting business. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on content planning, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. It’s ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is ready to scale influence across platforms, teams, and time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Governance
Develop and refine the global social media strategy, aligning with the brand and corporate objectives.
Support governance across social platforms to ensure alignment with brand standards and guidelines, audience targeting best practices, and global consistency.
Serve as advisor to regional social leads, providing strategic thinking and guidance to drive engagement and followership
Content Strategy & Creative Oversight
Develop key organic and paid social media campaigns, writing brand and corporate narratives
Schedule content on Hootsuite and monitor our content performance.
Collaborate with creative and content teams to ensure assets reflect NIQ’s tone, voice, and visual identity.
Champion innovation in content formats, platform use, and storytelling techniques
Advocate for bold creativity while staying rooted in our brand and performance-driven outcomes.
Performance & Optimization
Define and track KPIs across platforms, analyze organic and paid performance against benchmarks and optimize accordingly.
Partner with analytics teams to deliver dashboards and insights that inform strategy and executive reporting.
Monitor trends and emerging platforms to keep NIQ at the forefront of digital engagement.
Team & Vendor Management
Manage external partners, agencies, and technology platforms to drive output, innovation, and efficiency.
Qualifications
Qualifications
5+ years in social media role, brand and project management or related role.
Familiarity with brand development, marketing strategies, and multi-channel campaigns.
B2B experience is required.
Proven ability to manage external partners, agencies, and technology platforms.
Proven record of successful social media campaigns and use of social platforms.
Proven experience with paid social media campaigns on LinkedIn.
Commitment to end-to-end brand excellence—from guideline development to global campaign delivery
A keen interest in understanding the NIQ business and product portfolio.
Ability to analyze campaign performance and translate insights into action.
Proficiency with tools such as Hootsuite, Canva, PowerPoint, and AI writing platforms, Video editing tools
Knowledge of Adobe package
Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
