About the area/department:
As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will lead the development of custom travel technology solutions across backend and frontend stacks. Your focus will be on crafting high-performance microservices with Java + Spring Boot, designing responsive UIs with React, and deploying scalable applications in cloud-native architectures, particularly using AWS. You'll also provide guidance to engineering teams, shape architectural decisions, and ensure the delivery of maintainable, secure, and high-quality software.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead design and implementation of full-stack applications with a strong emphasis on backend services
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java 11+ and Spring Boot
- Develop user-friendly, scalable web interfaces using React, Redux, and modern JS frameworks
- Design and deploy solutions on AWS Cloud, using services such as Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation
- Champion development best practices including TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps principles
- Collaborate with product owners and QA to ensure successful end-to-end delivery
- Mentor and support team members, helping them grow their technical skills.

Backend Development
- Java 11+, Spring Boot (MVC, Data, Security)

Frontend Development

Cloud & Architecture
- AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway, CloudFormation)
- Cloud-native principles, API security (OAuth, JWT, rate limiting)
DevOps & CI/CD
- Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines
- Docker (Kubernetes is a plus), SonarQube
Databases
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
Testing & Quality
- TDD, JUnit, Mockito, Cypress or Jest
- Secure coding practices and static code analysis
Agile & Collaboration Tools
- Jira, Confluence, Git
- Scrum/Agile methodologies

- Experience with Angular 13+, Node.js + Express
