Overview
The Global DAM Analyst will strategically oversee the management of digital assets and reference materials to optimize organizational workflows. This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering seamless cross-functional collaboration across pharmaceutical brands to support long-term business objectives.
Responsibilities
Digital Asset Management Operations
- Manage the daily operations of JJIM’s enterprise DAM system, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Upload, tag, categorize, and organize digital assets such as images, videos, promotional materials, and scientific content.
- Validate uploaded file packages/assets for completeness and metadata accuracy.
- Coordinate asset lifecycle management, including version control, expiration, archival, and retirement processes.
- Publish assets to Brand Portals and lead their lifecycle accordingly.
- Conduct periodic audits of DAM assets to ensure data integrity, compliance, and usability.
- Generate reports to analyze asset usage, system engagement, and other relevant metrics.
2. Governance & Compliance
- Enforce digital asset governance policies aligned with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and medical teams to secure vital approvals prior to asset release.
- Understand asset usage to ensure compliance with licensing agreements, copyrights, and internal branding standards.
3. Metadata & Taxonomy Management
- Develop, maintain, and optimize taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and metadata schemas specific to pharmaceutical content (e.g., therapeutic areas, HCP/patient audiences).
- Validate and update metadata for accuracy, relevance, and search ability.
- Conduct metadata audits to improve quality and search efficiency.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & User Support
- Serve as the main point of contact for Brand Agencies regarding missing files and metadata requests.
- Collaborate with marketing, medical, legal, and medical affairs teams to understand and fulfill asset needs.
- Provide training and ongoing support to internal collaborators on DAM system use, metadata standards, and workflows.
- Prepare user guides, SOPs, and standard methodology documentation.
5. System Enhancement & Vendor Relations
- Provide input on DAM system upgrades, integrations, and new features.
- Liaise with DAM vendors to troubleshoot issues, request customizations, and ensure efficient system performance.
6. Reporting & Analytics
- Generate reports on asset utilization, licensing, user engagement, and compliance metrics.
- Leverage analytics to identify content gaps, usage trends, and opportunities for system and process optimization.
Qualifications
- Strong written and spoken proficiency in English
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations (FDA, EMA) and compliance standards is prefered.
- Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and workflow management.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and user training.
- Analytical skills for generating and interpreting detailed reports on system performance and usage.
