We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Digital Research with a proven track record in entertainment content analytics and deep expertise across digital platforms to join our Editorial Operations team. This senior role is pivotal in delivering strategic insights that shape content strategies, maximize audience engagement, and drive monetization across social, streaming, .com, and TV properties.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Digital Strategy and Operations, the ideal candidate is an expert in social media analytics, skilled in managing and integrating complex datasets, and adept at designing scalable automated dashboards that enable real-time, data-driven decision-making across teams.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)
Strategic Platform & Content Analytics
- Lead comprehensive performance analysis of entertainment properties across Meta, YouTube, TikTok, .com, streaming, and TV, delivering actionable insights that drive editorial strategy and business growth.
- Translate complex data from multiple platforms into clear strategic recommendations, shaping platform-specific content strategies and optimizing cross-platform audience engagement.
- Drive thought leadership on KPIs and best practices for short-form, long-form, and emerging content formats, supporting scalable content innovation.
Advanced Data Management & Automation
- Architect and maintain robust data pipelines integrating large-scale datasets from diverse sources using BigQuery, GA4, Supermetrics, and Looker.
- Develop and oversee advanced Looker dashboards and reporting tools to automate analytics workflows and deliver timely, predictive insights to editorial, marketing, and executive stakeholders.
Insight Generation & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze critical KPIs — including Total Streaming Hours, MAUs, engagement, CTR, watch time, and conversion funnels — providing strategic insights that inform content and marketing initiatives.
- Lead predictive modeling and scenario analyses to forecast content performance, audience growth, and revenue impact, enhancing strategic planning efforts.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and market gaps, ensuring TelevisaUnivision’s digital properties remain competitive and innovative.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy Enablement
- Partner closely with editorial, marketing, and product teams to embed data-driven insights into content planning, publishing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Advise senior leadership on data-informed strategies that drive reach expansion, conversion optimization for VIX, and enhanced advertiser value.
- Mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and continuous learning within the team.
YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressively senior experience in data analytics within media, digital content, or entertainment sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale datasets, complex quantitative analyses, and predictive modeling.
- Proficient with data integration and visualization tools including BigQuery, GA4, Supermetrics, and Looker.
- Deep understanding of social media and web analytics platforms with a track record of delivering strategic business insights.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to distill complex data into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at presenting insights to senior executives and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and impact.
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities, contributing to team growth and excellence.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
