Job Description:
Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and organized Legal Support Specialist to support a client-focused practice specializing in workers’ compensation and personal injury. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping injured clients, managing case documents, and supporting attorneys with case preparation. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and proactive mindset will contribute to providing excellent service and ensuring smooth operations. Monthly Compensation Range:
$1150 – $1220 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and providing compassionate support to clients
Assisting with client intake and communicating effectively with injured clients
Supporting attorneys with case tasks, document preparation, and proofing pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Posting to the firm’s social media pages and preparing monthly Mailchimp email campaigns
Managing court calendars, tracking deadlines, and obtaining case-related documents
Supporting attorney logistics with meeting arrangements and travel plans
Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to legal and ethical standards
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
Typing speed of 60–80 words per minute preferred
Compassionate customer service and friendly demeanor
Problem-solving mindset and ability to follow instructions
Long-term dedication and eagerness to grow professionally
Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and attention to client care

Requirements:
1–2 years of experience supporting legal teams, paralegals, or legal assistants
Prior experience in workers’ compensation or personal injury law preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) advantageous for client communication
Strong written and spoken English skills, with excellent grammar and punctuation
Experience with e-filing court documents
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Able to work in a distraction-free environment, fully focused on tasks
