About the Role:
Are you a highly skilled and creative Video Editor with a passion for crafting engaging, trending content? Superhairpieces is building a post-production hub and seeking a talented editor to join our marketing team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in transforming raw footage into captivating video content for our social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, helping us maximize our content's reach and impact. You'll manage the full post-production workflow, from material acquisition to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Content Production:
- Support the creation of video content for YouTube, Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook channels and social media.
- Download and organize raw material from cloud storage.
- Fast paced video editing.
- Edit English and Spanish video content.
- Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and visual aesthetics.
- Asset Management & Quality Assurance:
- Create or gather assets for commercial, online, and product-based information reference. (After effects graphics, titles, buttons and batches).
- Gather or generate B-Roll material for video and storytelling enhancement.
- Perform exports and ensure Quality Assurance compliance.
- Generate textless exports and manage library indexation.
- Platform & Optimization Support:
- Support the YT ES Video Queue.
- Prepare thumbnails, and create description, title, and thumbnail copy.
- Support YT Studio post creation and scheduling.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut, Davinci Resolve).
- Ability to create and edit After Effects motion graphics projects.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (for color grading/image manipulation relevant to video).
Assets (Preferred Qualifications):
- Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Film, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in video editing for digital platforms.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook) and current video content trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Work location: Initial weeks remote, transitioning to on-site location in Northern Bogotá, Colombia.
