As Accounting & Systems Integration Specialist, Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:

• Financial Operations: Assist accounting team members as needed with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the implementation of new accounting automation software
• Month-End Close: Assist the Controller in calculating and preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, reviewing the general ledger for accuracy, and generating financial reports accurately and timely.
• Ensure that accounting best practices, systems, and internal controls are followed
• Execute monthly and annual closing procedures
• Support the Controller with ad hoc financial projects and process improvements in the areas of operational efficiency, accounting and reporting, to support the company’s goal to become a paperless, AI-driven organization.
• Be able to effectively communicate with operational managers on matters involving financial operations and related to the assigned areas of responsibility

Minimum requirements:

• Studies: Bachelor's degree in accounting, International Business, Business Administration, Finance, or administration-related.
• Experience: 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, including at least 3 years of experience working with system integrations

• Language: Good English skills. B2+ or higher is preferred.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST following the US Calendar.
• Contract: It would start as a 6-month contract with the possibility of later transitioning to a permanent contract.

• Location: WeWork Santa Fe - Medellin.
• Salary: $6,000.000 Cop
