What the day will look like
Financial Lines Broker is responsible for supporting the administration and portfolio development of financial lines policies for profesional and commercial bussinesses including IRF, D&O and E&O.- Perform market reserving.
- Prepare all technical information for underwriters, including reinsurance contract documentation for small, medium and large accounts.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with reinsurers.
- Support in the renewal of the current portfolio.
- Support new business opportunities.
- Preparation of spreadsheets for the determination of income.
- Preparation of placement slips and coverage notes.
- Handling of all existing portfolio movements including portfolio requirements and operations.
- Follow up on endorsements, subjectivities
- Compliance with the financial plan and goals in charge of the line and other established indicators.
- Technical and personal development of the broking teams.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Experience: 2 years - In an insurance or reinsurance broker or in an insurance company in the underwriting or claims area.
- Technical Knowledge: In Insurance, Reinsurance and in general of general insurance lines (Financial Lines IRF, D&O, E&O) (Desirable)
- Studies and/or specialties: Professional graduate in administrative, accounting, engineering or law areas.
- Languages: Advanced level of English
- Technological tools: Excel, Word and Power Point and Office in general.
