We are seeking a driven, organized, and resourceful Business Development & Recruiting Manager to support our growing offshore and nearshore staffing agency. In this hybrid role, you’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing strategic referral partners, and improving recruiting efficiency by handling early-stage candidate communications.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and understands the balance between sales outreach and recruiting coordination. You’ll work directly with company leadership to identify growth opportunities and help ensure a smooth, high-quality experience for both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and reach out to potential clients and strategic referral partners
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Maintain and nurture business relationships to generate qualified leads
- Schedule sales calls and support follow-ups with potential clients
- Assist in preparing proposals, follow-up documentation, and client onboarding coordination
Recruiting Coordination
- Review incoming job applications and filter qualified candidates
- Conduct initial screening messages or calls to pre-qualify talent
- Schedule interviews between candidates and internal recruiting or client teams
- Keep candidates informed on next steps and timelines
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM throughout the recruiting lifecycle
Administrative Support
- Manage CRM entries and ensure all pipeline activity is accurately tracked
- Respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with calendar scheduling for internal and client meetings
- Coordinate documentation for partnerships and candidate placements
- Follow SOPs and help refine internal workflows for greater efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years experience in business development, recruiting, or account management
- Strong English fluency—excellent verbal and written communication is a must
- Proven experience with phone sales or appointment setting
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working in and managing a CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, High Level)
- Ability to manage multiple conversations, tasks, and timelines simultaneously
- Tech-savvy with experience using modern communication tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace)
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently
Nice To Have
- Previous experience in the staffing, recruiting, or BPO industry
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or recruitment software
- Understanding of outbound sales strategy and lead generation campaigns
- Spanish or bilingual language skills (preferred but not required)
Working Hours
- Full-time schedule with at least 4–6 hours of daily overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (exact hours to be coordinated).
- Must be available to respond to messages within 10 minutes during active collaboration windows
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely Delivery: 95–100% of videos delivered on time
- Video Quality: No more than 0–1 revisions per week due to errors
- Revision Turnaround: 90% of revisions completed within 24–48 hours
- Editing Efficiency: Average 2–4 hours per video
- File Management: Zero instances of misplaced files
- Communication: 90% response rate within 10 minutes
- Creative Input: 1–2 valuable suggestions to improve content weekly
