LatAm - Senior VueJS Developer

We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Vue.js Developer to join our team located in LATAM.

As a Senior Vue.js Developer, you'll spearhead Vue.js UI architecture and development, champion WCAG 2.1+ accessibility, and create universal UI components. Your role includes managing backend integrations, legacy system migrations, ensuring top performance and security, fostering collaboration, and mentoring developers.

• Lead design, development, and migration (Vue 2 to Vue 3) of high-performance, scalable Vue.js applications and universal UI components.
• Champion and enforce WCAG 2.1+ accessibility standards across all front-end deliverables through rigorous development and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless backend integration and strategically manage migration from legacy React components.
• Proactively identify and resolve complex front-end performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF).
• Mentor developers, enhance coding guidelines, and support QA in automated/manual testing, ensuring code quality and architectural integrity.

Required Qualifications (Top 5):

• 5-7+ years of front-end experience with expert-level Vue.js (Vue 2/3, ecosystem, migration) and solid professional React.js experience.
• Deep practical knowledge of WCAG 2.1+ (ARIA) accessibility standards and extensive experience with related testing tools (axe, Lighthouse).
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 (inc. preprocessors), and modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Vite).
• Demonstrable experience with secure coding practices, robust form validation (e.g., VeeValidate), UI frameworks, and front-end testing (Jest, Cypress).
• Proven ability to thrive in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira, Git (Gitflow), and CI/CD pipelines, with excellent communication.

Highly Desirable Qualifications (Top 5):

• Significant experience developing applications within Identity and Access Management (IAM) or other security-focused domains.
• Strong familiarity with and application of universal design principles and inclusive design methodologies.
• Verifiable contributions to open-source projects, particularly those centered on Vue.js or web accessibility.
• Expertise in advanced performance profiling and optimization techniques specifically for complex, large-scale front-end applications.
• Proven success in architecting and delivering solutions that address scalability challenges in enterprise-level Vue.js applications.
