The Manager Sales is responsible to lead the entire commercial team/operation with a vision of growth while ensuring the SFP long term strategy, focus on people-development and clear communication of goals/mission so that a committed, motivated environment is maintained. Coordinating all human and financial resources available in the Region, primarily driven by established national Departmental strategies, adapt them to and enhance them for the Regional characteristics and specificities to maximize performance and growth potential. Identify areas of opportunity and business development.
Accountabilities:
- Achieve monthly volume (SISO) targets through effective management of various sales forces and implementation of identified strategies contributing to the development of LRP with proper identification of issues, opportunities and priorities of their area of responsibility.
- Shape own Business Plan multicategory / multichannel through cascading down the rea Master Plan and customizing based on the Regional needs and opportunities.
- Ensure the regional business plan is on track and in line with Area Plan.
- Analyze, monitor and implement the set plans/programs, propose improvement areas, review the plans/programs periodically and update them based on the results of the implementation for timely achievement of area-wide objectives.
- Monitor and analyze all available source and systems to reach excellent level of market/industry/competitor intelligence to grasp the potential and identify the local business opportunities that will help to meet business challenges.
- Own and manage the cost to serve among the operation in order to ensure the operations sustainability.
- Build and maintain excellent professional relationship with trade partners- EZD and C&C- at the area of responsibility to ensure that they will continue as the present and future preferred supplier of PM products and with local authorities and organizations to enhance the knowledge of general market conditions and secure flawless execution of operation.
- Maintain discipline, rigor and enthusiasm amongst multi-channel-focused staff, managing the Field Sales Forces to achieve sales and distribution & acquisition objectives maximizing availability and visibility of the brands while ensuring best service to the retailers by being actively on the field, identify opportunities and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Act as a bridge between the field force, trade marketing and other support functions and ensure the communication flow between these parties.
- Plan, propose and after approval execute the operating budgets for the region.
- Ensure that sales incentive and new product launch activities are done through Field Sales Forces networks in accordance with the approved plans and objectives. Customize the national sales programs according to regional needs and execute through the merchandisers, direct sales force, C&C´s and contracted Distributors.
- Manage direct team and lead all Field Sales Forces or Service providers, by maintaining high motivation through effective field accompaniment. Continuously follow-up and analyze the individual and group performances and carry out on the job trainings and training programs according to their needs. Ensure that the Field Sales Forces are committed to achieve key business goals, enhancing the image of the company with the trade by being fully compliant with P&P and legal framework.
- Feed Marketing and Trade Marketing team and cooperate with them to ensure that national TM strategy satisfies region-specific field requirements. Ensure that Field Sales Force Team and TM Team work with unity in close coordination and collaboration.
