GoodUnited is a fundraising software that helps nonprofits harness the power of Social Networks, offering a solution that simplifies lead generation, automates supporter engagement, and maximizes fundraising revenue.
We’re a fast-moving, venture capital backed B2B SaaS company with global ambitions and deep domain expertise. Our mission is to reshape how nonprofits engage with supporters through social media and direct messaging. With U.S. customers and product-market fit in hand, we’re now looking to build a world-class marketing engine - starting with you.
As a Product Designer at GoodUnited, you’ll own the end-to-end design process for new features and enhancements that help nonprofits grow their audience, engage supporters, and raise more funds. You’ll work at the intersection of UX, UI, and product strategy - translating complex workflows into simple, beautiful, and intuitive experiences for nonprofit teams and the supporters they serve.
This is a role for a designer who can zoom out to see the system and zoom in to polish the pixels - someone who cares deeply about both how it works and how it feels.
What You’ll Do
- Lead design from discovery to delivery: As we invest in new capabilities like integrations, AI and new social channels, you will own the process from user research and problem definition through wireframes, prototypes, visual design, and developer handoff.
- Shape product strategy: Partner with product managers and engineers to define requirements and influence the roadmap with design-led thinking.
- Design for dual audiences: Create experiences for both nonprofit staff (B2B SaaS) and their supporters (conversational messaging journeys).
- Prototype & test rapidly: Use Figma and other tools to validate ideas quickly with real users.
- Evolve our design system: Maintain and expand our component library for consistency, scalability, and accessibility.
- Advocate for the user: Bring nonprofit staff and supporter perspectives into every decision, backed by data and research.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with customer experience teams to ensure designs deliver measurable impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products, preferably in SaaS or B2B2C environments.
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work - not just UI, but problem-solving and interaction design.
- Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, iterative environments with tight feedback loops.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Strong communication skills - able to clearly articulate design rationale to both designers and non-designers.
