As a Back Office Specialist, some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:

  • Carrier Vetting: In charge of checking carriers' credentials, safety rating and compliance status
  • Claims Assistant/Admin: Takes tasks to support staff in processing insurance claims. Claims assistants manage correspondence, take phone calls, do paperwork, and type documents.
  • Accounts Payable: Accomplishes tasks involving payments; and handles expenditures by obtaining, processing, validating, and harmonizing invoices. They obtain, validate invoices, and review transactions to guarantee that appropriate procedures and policies are strictly followed.
  • Processor Assistant (Billing & Accounts Receivable): Ensure their company receives payments for goods and services, and records these transactions accordingly. An Accounts Receivable job description will include securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Studies: Desirable studies in International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Foreign Languages, Foreign Trade, or Logistics related.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience customer service, or Logistics industry.
  • Language: Advanced English skills. B2+ or higher is preferred.

Perks:

  • Schedule: Hybrid model – On-site at WeWork Santa Fé (El Poblado) on Mondays and Tuesdays, and remote work from Wednesday to Friday. Working hours: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., following the US Calendar.
  • Contract: Indefinite term contract
  • Location: Medellín (applicants must be based in Medellín)
  • Salary: COP 2,420,000
