The Key Account Manager will coordinate and execute the business strategy by identifying opportunities, engaging the Distributor in Colombia, Perú and Ecuador and customers assigned to promoting product distribution, sell-out, placement and securing the activities are being executed through the Distributor. This role plays a crucial part in expanding our brand and driving revenue. Position includes collaborating with regional teams, supporting sales pitches & tenders, while securing product availability and placement in the designated customers.
This position is responsible for promoting and enhancing product turnover in Colombia and Peru through the execution and monitoring of the Joint Business Marketing & Commercial Annual Plan.
This role will be responsible for maintaining continuous and stretch communication with the designated customers, securing product availability and adequate inventory levels.
Coordinate along with the Regional Management a correct execution of the Sales Fundamentals for the portfolio (Product Assortment, Marketing Positioning, Distribution & Commercial Strategies)
Monitors business performance with regular data analysis reports of the sell-through and sell-out of key customers to propose appropriate commercial plans.
Ensures effective coordination of activities, compliance with quality and customer service standards, establishing solid relationships with customers.
Will be the focal point to provide and assist customers and support their sales process.
Customer Development and Management
- Establish solid relationships with customers and key stakeholders to provide proactive and ongoing support.
- Provide training about products and services promoted, ensuring that they are up to date and have the necessary knowledge to adequately commercialize our brand.
- Participate in the periodic performance analysis of customers’ Business Review to propose plans to improve their performance and achieve established Joint objectives.
New Business Opportunities:
- Identify new Business opportunities and trends in the sector.
- Share market trends and insights while collaborating with the Distributors team to provide relevant information for the development of effective lead generation and promotion strategies for products and services.
Support and Internal Coordination:
- Collaborate closely with customer teams, to guarantee fluid communication and effective coordination of activities.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers, ensuring that they have access to the resources and information needed to resolve customer queries and close successful sales.
- Travel up to 30%.
Basic Qualifications:
- University Degree or Administration Degree is needed.
- 5+ Years of Experience in Sales / Business Development Role with solid knowledge of the local Retail Market and Government Sales and the ability to identify commercial opportunities and challenges.
- Prior experience in business development or commercial roles in the Healthcare Industry.
- Must be at intermediate level with excel.
- Language level: English Advanced Intermediate Level.
- Management of IT tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, intermediate level and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to transmit knowledge and motivate the sales team.
- Results-oriented, with skills to establish goals, measure performance and take corrective actions.
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to establish solid relationships with the distributor and other internal teams.
- High autonomy and ability to work independently and organized.
