About the Job
As the Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst at NIQ, you will hold a critical role within our Finance Planning & Analysis Service Delivery Team. Your primary focus will be on leading the financial planning and analysis activities for one region, ensuring Revenue, expenses processes related are carried out with high standards of efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with strategic goals. This position requires a proactive approach to lead and support decision-making processes. with a strong eye for detail and a steady approach to leadership. Working with numbers, solving problems, and helping teams stay organized and focused. With experience in budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis, aim to bring clarity and structure to every P&L activity. Passionate about continuous learning and always looking for ways to improve processes and support business goals through thoughtful financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- &L Management - Controls and Governance: Financial Analysis and Reporting: Develop complex financial models to support specialize in making the most of the tools our company already uses—leveraging them to build smart, reliable processes that support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning, by understanding the matrixed organization to action with clarity. The goal is to help teams make confident decisions using resources they already trust. Analyze financial data to identify trends, make recommendations, and report on financial performance.
- Key contributor for Leading and Execution: Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Finance Business Partner, and leaders from Commercial teams to develop a world-class forecast accuracy and quality of data as for revenue, expenses, headcounts. Drive local and regional strategy and supporters to FBP, Market Director, to create and develop efficiency for new ways of rhythms withing NIQ. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their financial needs and ensure the FP&A activities align with business objectives. Maintain clear and consistent communication to manage expectations and report findings.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes. Implement best practices in financial analysis and planning to enhance the operational workflow within the Finance department.
- Revenue and Expense business partner: Risk Management: Monitor and lead financial assumptions and predictions, identifying potential risks and opportunities. Lead and prepare risk assessment presentations and contingency plans to support strategic decision-making. Accountable for central cost centers such as personal expenses, HR, Legal for forecasting, budgeting, identifying risks/opportunities. Conduct other ad hoc analysis for regional finance leadership, as required.
- Impact as Finance Operations member: Confidently projecting NIQ principles. Play and active role at local and regional level within Finance operations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members within the FP&A Finance Operations organisation to ensure a cohesive approach to financial management and to foster an environment of learning and growth.
- Leadership Exposure: Finance leadership local and regional and Market Director of the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA or CPA is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a similar industry or commercial finance role.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in financial modeling and experience with financial software and systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc.), PBI, One Stream, Microsoft Dynamics. and ERP systems.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of effectively presenting information and responding to questions from stakeholders.
