Job Purpose:
The Logistics Data Entry Analyst is responsible for supporting operational teams through accurate data input, system updates, and case monitoring within the logistics workflow. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent Excel and Outlook skills, and an interest in growing within the logistics industry. The analyst will play a key part in keeping information accurate and up to date in platforms such as Worldport 2, ensuring efficient handling of the information and shipments daily.
Key Responsibilities:
Upload and download data and documentation into internal systems.
Enter and validate shipment data including delivery schedules, carrier updates, and order statuses.
Check statuses with carriers and report any discrepancies or issues.
Escalate missing or unclear data to appropriate team members to ensure complete shipment information.
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
tracking and dashboard updates with real-time data inputs.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., finance, compliance, customer service) to clarify data discrepancies.
Assist in provide documentation or créate shipments (templates, reference data, etc.)
Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) or quick reference guides related to data workflows.
Support bulk uploads/mass updates of data using Excel import tools or macros (depending on system).
Maintain logs of processed cases and provide status summaries to team leaders or supervisors.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or technical degree; higher education in Logistics, Business, or related fields is a plus.
6 months to 1 year of experience in data entry, logistics coordination, or administrative support.
Experience in the logistics industry is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is essential.
Quick learner with strong technical adaptability and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to take initiative.
