Manage, coordinate, and execute international freight operations (import and export) via sea, air, and land transport, ensuring compliance with timelines, costs, customs regulations, and customer service levels. Your primary focus will be on routes to and from the United States, within a multimodal logistics model.
Main functions:
- Coordinate international shipments from initial contact to final delivery (door-to-door or port-to-port).
- Manage multimodal operations, ensuring efficient connection between land, air, and sea transport.
- Prepare and review commercial and transport documentation: BLs, AWBs, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.
- Track shipments in real time and promptly inform customers and internal departments.
- Liaise with international freight forwarders, shipping companies, airlines, carriers, and logistics operators.
- Comply with customs regulations and specific requirements of the United States (TSA, FDA, etc.) and the country of origin.
- Optimize logistics costs through negotiation with suppliers and efficient resource management.
- Manage unforeseen events such as delays, detentions, damage, or cargo diversions.
- Record and maintain up-to-date documentary and operational traceability in internal systems.
- Support the preparation of management reports, logistics KPIs, and service quality control.

Profile requirements:
- Education: Professional or technologist in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in international logistics operations, working with freight forwarders, freight forwarders, or multimodal transport companies.
- Specific knowledge:
- Management of maritime, air, and land operations.
- International foreign trade regulations.
- Export and import documentation.
- Handling of Incoterms.
- Traffic to and from the US.
- Tools: Handling of TMS systems, logistics ERPs, intermediate or advanced Excel.
- Language: Intermediate to advanced English (B2 or higher), fluent conversation skills essential for coordinating with international agents.
