Job Description

The BI Specialist has the tech and leadership skills to work directly with clients from Guatemala and with small BI Analysts teams

The BI specialist is a key position for the team's management, as it is one step below BI Associate Manager and is responsible for analyzing business data to help make informed decisions. Their focus is working with BI analysts to transform raw data into useful information and present it in a way that is understandable to the business.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or planning to start a technical career.

• Minimum of 12 months of experience in a data-related role.

• Advanced skills in report generation using Power BI or other business intelligence tools. Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau

• Fundamental knowledge of data management principles and practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• The BI Specialist works with minimal supervision and has strong ethical values that he demonstrates in his daily activities.

• The BI Specialist is a results-oriented team player and works harmoniously with different personalities and work types.

Responsabilities:

1.Identification: Understand business objectives and needs related to data. You have the skills and abilities to propose and innovate, seeking to improve data processes.
2. Data Collection: Obtain data from diverse sources to ensure completeness and relevance of information for decision-making.
3. Data Analysis: Use BI tools to analyze collected data and derive valuable insights for operations.
4. Data Visualization: Create effective reports and dashboards that facilitate data interpretation and informed decision-making.
5. Communication: Effective and assertive communication between your analysts and your leadership team. You also collaborate with other teams to explain findings, follow-ups, and project status in a comprehensive and regular manner.
6. Workstreams: Data Management, Data Analysis, Reporting and Visualization, and Decision Support.
