About the job Workers Compensation Legal Assistant
Reclatam is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing law firm based in Georgia, to find a Workers Compensation Legal Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for client service and experience in workers compensation cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with workers compensation cases from intake to settlement.
- Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers regarding case status and documentation.
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and organized client files within Filevine.
- Monitor deadlines and calendar hearings, appointments, and filing dates.
- Follow up with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to clients with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements:
- 12 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in workers compensation law (required).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Filevine case management software (required).
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
