Job Description
Our Law Firm The Ward Law Group is currently hiring Virtual Legal Records Demands Specialist (REMOTE). Training is provided- (NO PRIOR LEGAL EXPERIENCE NEEDED).
As a virtual assistant you will work from home, your contract will be as an independent contractor and we offer full time positions (40 hours per week), we are looking for candidates that have experience in sales and customer service, with ability to adapt easily to changes and work in a fast paced environment, ability to work independently.
Schedule availability is required (40 hours per week - 2 days off)
Virtual Legal Records Demands Specialist responsibilities will vary depending of the department you are hire for, some are but not limited to:.
- Maintaining frequent communication with client and answering questions.
- Responsible for collecting all medical records, medical bills, and supporting documentation to prepare a demand package to be sent to an insurance company.
- Requires consistent follow-up over the phone and email to ensure all requests are processed in a timely manner.
- Request medical records and bills via email, fax, and/or mail.
- Contact medical providers and adjusters through email and over the phone to follow-up on requests.
- Pay for any invoices received in order to obtain medical records and bills requested and document the expense in our case management system.
- Review all medical records and bills to ensure accuracy and request amendments/corrections when needed.
Compensation:
- First 3 months of TRAINING: USD $550 base pay + commissions (USD $63 per package).
- After 3 months, compensation is FULLY COMMISSION only (USD $63 per package).
Qualifications
Virtual Assistant Job Qualifications and Required Skills:
- Must speak English and Spanish fluently
- Must be detailed oriented and meticulous
- Commitment to work overtime on occasion.
- Have solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Must be a self-starter and multi-tasker.
- Ability to work independently.
